Training with REPL

REPL have been training engineers and cable jointers in the usage of REPL jointing systems for over 15 years.

Our trainers will either travel directly to your workshops for one-on-one or group training, or if requested visit the installation site to train insitue.

Training itself takes place firstly with a session of theory covering the design of different cables and joint systems, following which the critical steps of terminations and jointing systems are explained and finally students are given a practical demonstration of jointing, if requested student can also be supervised whilst they carry out their own jointing work.

The duration of courses depends upon the amount of jointing systems covered, although we expect to train for one joint or one termination per day, usually with a minimum of two days.

REPL will also provide evidence of competance for jointers using REPL terminations, these are graded according operating voltage of the joints (11,22,33kv) and the cable joint type (XLPE, PILC, transition.)

Course minimum requirements:
Jointers are expected to have previous experience in cable jointing systems, these courses are not for inexperienced people.
